Student Work Placement – Group Marketing

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager and Manager, the student will assist the Group Marketing team, delivering essential administrative tasks and playing a crucial role in achieving operational efficiency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

The ideal candidate will assist with the following areas:

• Administrative and BAU support across the Group Marketing team, with a core focus on operations that better support the wider department.
• Help identify areas for process improvement and support in implementing initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.
• Support the Group Marketing / Premises branding workstream.
• Assist with communications with vendors and service providers.
• Gain an understanding of how JTC works as a business and adds value to clients.
• Learn and get exposure to a range of simple processes that must be completed across the team.
• Fulfilling tasks set out by supervisors including conducting research, analysis, updating spreadsheets, attending meetings and other administrative duties.
• Perform various tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing and binding of documents.
• Liaise with stakeholders as necessary and under the supervision of more senior team members.
• Adhere to Risk & Associated Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
• Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

•  Recently completed A’ Levels or BTEC studies and seeking a career in Finance.
• Available to work over a 6-8 week period during the Summer Vacation.
• For those intending to study at university, demonstrate an interest in returning for further periods of work during holiday periods.
• Strong communication skills with an enthusiastic and helpful outlook.
• Self-starter who can work independently on their initiative and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good analytical skills.
