Senior Manager – Solutions Team – Employer Solutions

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

The post holder will be responsible for new plan implementations, including scoping operational design and ongoing oversight, and supporting ad hoc client driven projects across the business, including the integration of a new platform and the roll out of ServiceNow as a case management tool.

A key focus will be contributing towards efficiency initiatives within Employer Solutions with alignment and continuous improvement of all processes / operations across the teams. The post holder will actively participate in successful execution and delivery of the projects at a management level.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Support ES Solutions team in technology and tactical enhancements; delivering business efficiency and system modernisation in line with strategic objectives set by the Group Board.
  • Gain a full understanding of the new system functionalities and ensure system developments meet business objectives.
  • Provide solutions with respect to client service delivery, administration and execution of all operational aspects within the various employer remuneration structures administered by JTC Employer Solutions Limited.
  • Analysis of key infrastructure, engaging appropriate technology resources to ensure that changes meet business needs and cost vs. benefit requirements. Assess the needs of the business and make recommendations regarding the development or change including the investment, workflows and wider operating and custody model.
  • Liaison with JTC Information Technology Team to ensure that Employer Solutions technology changes are consistent with group objectives.
  • Liaison with third party intermediaries e.g. Fund Managers / Transfer Agents / Clients / Platform providers / 3rd Party Vendors.
  • New Plan build & implementations inc. pilot, training and ongoing governance.
  • Ensuring JTC Employer Solutions is sufficiently prepared for the impact of associated operating changes, inc. arranging training and facilitating impact of change workshops whenever necessary.
  • Coordinate business acceptance testing (UAT and PIV) for ES technology changes, engaging with appropriate stakeholders, support and business unit personnel as required to complete in accordance with schedule.
  • Develop and enhance long term relationships with third party technology providers, JTC Group Information Technology Team and Group Chief Information Officer.
  • Adhere to Risk & Compliance policies and procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation and to any Divisional policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
  • Develop self and ensure knowledge in relevant field at all times.
  • Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours and ensure the spirit of JTC is engendered and shared within the Group.
  • Adhere to Risk & Associated Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Completer/Finisher – ability to see tasks through to completion.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Positive “can do” attitude.
  • Able to focus on self and ensure knowledge in relevant field at all times.
  • Ability to track and report progress of ongoing activity in a consistent manner making it easy for the Project Manager to track and for reporting progress to the respective committee.
  • Strong excel knowledge and technical ability.
  • Comfortable with systems such as Alteryx and PowerBI.
