ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
The role is responsible for the oversight and delivery of the ISAE3402 audit of our Jersey Funds and Corporate business and the Jersey control testing program, which spans all service lines.
The role holder will be expected to communicate with key senior stakeholders in relation to control monitoring findings, trends and themes and to present at Risk Committee and Board level, where relevant. The role holder will require a proactive and organised approach to delivering both the audit and control monitoring program and should drive the scope and focus areas for testing. The initial focus is on the delivery of control testing to the Jersey business, but the role holder will be expected to broaden the testing out across other jurisdictions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Oversee and manage the team in Jersey which is responsible for facilitation of the ISAE3402 audit for the Jersey business and the Jersey control testing program.
- Design and implement new control tests.
- Ensure the team are adequately highlighting any control breaks or deficiencies in line with the testing plan.
- Identify new areas for testing, based on themes identified during testing and MI provided by other support functions, such as CMP testing and Internal Audit.
- Act as the liaison point for the ISAE3402 auditors.
- Co-ordinate requests from the auditors, liaising with the relevant internal JTC teams where necessary.
- Provide support on ad-hoc projects.
- Create and ensure alignment of team’s strategy to overall strategic objectives and KPIs set by the Group.
- Uphold the Group’s policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.
- Undertake any other duties as required.
- Adhere to Risk & Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant experience within a similar role including experience of ISAE3402 audits and designing and managing a control monitoring program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritise and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Solutions driven approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Systems – MS office/Viewpoint/Teams.
