Manager – Group Finance Operations

Purpose of Job

The role holder will be responsible for a variety of internal finance and accounting tasks. The primary responsibilities of this role include review, mapping and reconciliation of data and processes resulting from business integration.

Main Responsibilities and Duties
  • Work as part of a Project Team to integrate finance functions of acquired businesses
  • Managing investigations of existing finance processes of acquired businesses, relating to book keeping and invoicing
  • Identification of differences and similarities of processes with a view to alignment
  • Review of data provided with a view to map, import and reconcile data and balances as reported
  • Assisting with the management of preparation and adherence to timeline for identified integration project deliverables
  • Attend, participate and present at integrations meetings as alternate in absence of Senior Director
  • Provide training and support to acquired business during roll out of new systems and/or processes
  • Responsible for the organisation and management of the handover of integrated work streams to the BAU team upon completion of the integration phase
  • Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours
  • Adhere to Risk & Associate Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
  • Ensure manager/assistant manager is training, developing, motivating and monitoring the progress of the team/s, ensuring individual team members adherence to their contractual obligations and competencies
  • Lead, influence and management stakeholders as relevant
Essential Requirements
  • ACCA or CIMA preferred but not essential
  • Experience in use of Excel and Alteryx software preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience in data interrogation and mapping preferred
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
