File Reviewer – Fixed Term Contract

Purpose of Job

The primary focus would be to work on completing independent reviews of PCS files in accordance with JTC’s policies and procedures, contractual and regulatory obligations.

Essential Requirements
  • Knowledge of complex structures including companies and trusts
  • Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional AML/CFT legislation and regulatory requirements would be desirable
  • Understanding of risk factors and escalation processes
  • Working knowledge of AcuReview and/or Viewpoint is desirable
  • An ability to work in an organised manner and having attention to detail
  • An ability to deal with a variety of tasks and to work towards deadlines
Main Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct reviews of Company and Trust structures and due diligence packs
  • To undertake reviews of a basic nature to identify errors found in the course of a review
  • Providing trend analysis and reporting to JTC Group
  • Have a broad understanding of the different type of service and product that JTC is able to provide
    Maintain client confidentiality
  • Seek assistance of more senior members of staff when faced with difficult issues / problems
    Undertaking client screening checks
  • Monitoring of transactions in accordance with regulatory and business requirements
  • Promoting awareness of regulatory principles and requirements on a day to day basis
  • Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification/ professional membership and in-house procedures and where appropriate be proactive in identifying and proposing improvements
  • Adhering to Risk & Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation
  • Be familiar with local legislation relating to drug trafficking, money laundering and any other legislation which has an impact on the conduct of trust and company business within the jurisdiction
  • Develop an awareness and ability to avert potential risk issues
  • Report complaints, operational risks, suspicions etc in accordance with procedures
  • Adhering to JTC core values and expected behaviours
