ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
To make a significant contribution to the running of the Client Service Delivery team (“CSD team”) ensuring consistent delivery to the Group’s existing and potentially new clients of the highest quality of professional service and thus protect and enhance the Group’s reputation. Ensure all employees are well managed, developed and motivated to continuously thrive within their role. Play a supporting role in meeting the CSD teams strategic and operational objectives set by the Group Board.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- To successfully manage an extensive and varied portfolio of clients whilst achieving set budgetary and performance targets.
- Assist with the planning, drafting and implementing of strategy and activities consistent with overall strategic aims, budgets, KPI’s as defined for Financial, Management and Risk or as required by the Group.
- Attend board meetings and lead client meetings as required, either on or off site; this may from time to time require travel.
- Develop and enhance long term relationships with clients, their advisers, intermediaries and other introducers of work.
- Active participation at internal business development meetings; demonstrate an ability to identify potential business opportunities within the team’s portfolio of clients and where possible introduce prospective new business to the Group.
- Assist with the pricing new business enquiries and preparation of new business proposals.
- Actively manage and guide clients through the JTC on-boarding process.
- Manage Aged Debt and cash collection to ensure KPIs are met.
- Develop, enhance and retain existing client base, advisers, intermediaries and other introducers of work, providing a value-added service and a high standard of client care.
- Adhere to Risk & Compliance policies and procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
- Adhere to all applicable procedures and contribute to developing or improving procedures as required.
- Attend and represent the team at internal meetings.
- Develop an ability to lead, inspire and motivate the team and the wider Group to sustain the Group’s unique stakeholder culture.
- Management of employees, ensuring their adherence to their contractual obligations and according to Group standards and policy.
- Assisting in the development of the team including talent management and identifying training requirements.
- Carrying out quarterly check ins and appraisals.
- Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures as applicable.
- Deputise in the absence of the Client Director.
- Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
- Carry out any other duties as defined or deemed necessary.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in a financial service.
- Deep knowledge of the fund administration business.
- Preferably a qualified Accountant.
