ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
To perform allocated tasks efficiently and to a high standard on the more complex areas of work. To assist the Senior Manager to ensure team delivers the required services. To work independently on tasks and be able to self-manage own workload and also support the Senior Manager on managing the workload of the team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Responsible to oversee the fund/bank statements sourcing process from various third-party service providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including fund/bank statements and investors notices, in key systems for a portfolio of clients.
- Review portfolio valuations conducted by junior staff to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission to the client.
- Support team members with Financial Statement Templates and the bookkeeping screening process as needed.
- Monitor the company mailbox and ensure that all queries are promptly handled by junior staff members.
- Promptly address and resolve queries, collaborating with team members or clients to ensure issues are settled within the required timeframes.
- Review of information prepared by the team on simple entities/tasks to support the Senior Manager.
- Actively participate in calls/meetings with the team/client to discuss matters arising and working closely with the manager on the tracking of work against deliverable schedule.
- Assist other team members with their queries and provide guidance on when items need escalated. Communication of any possible issues to Senior Manager on a real time basis.
- Provide support to junior team members and the Senior Manager.
- Ensure strict adherence to all operational guidelines, policies, procedures, and controls.
- Adhere to JTC core values and expected standards of behaviour.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Partly qualified ACCA or equivalent academic qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in relevant environment, ideally within Investment Administration, Registry, or Fund sectors, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or review capacity.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High level of numeracy and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
