Assistant Administrator – Banking and Treasury

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

The Banking Team provides centralised support to the wider JTC business by managing all aspects of client cash and banking activity. The team is responsible for processing and controlling payments, FX transactions, fixed deposits, account openings and closures, reconciliations, and other banking administration on behalf of the ICS and Employer Solutions divisions.

You will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Banking function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions, reconciliations, and bookkeeping. The role is essential to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of Banking operations by meeting deadlines, adhering to compliance requirements, and supporting the team in delivering a high standard of service to both internal and external stakeholders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Processing Banking related payments, including foreign exchange, fixed deposits and pooled receipts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Meeting all deadlines in accordance with bank cut off times.
  • Bookkeeping all related transactions in a timely manner.
  • Completing all Cash Management reports accurately within agreed time frames.
  • Perform continuous checks of daily workflows to ensure tasks are progressing as expected and escalate any delays or issues to the Manager.
  • Support UAT Testing processes and assist with the preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Work closely with team members and external banking partners to ensure smooth execution of transactions and maintain effective communication channels.
  • Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
  • Adhere to Risk & Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
  • Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Strong telephone and written communication skills.
  • Completer / finisher – ability to see tasks through to the end.
  • Ability and willingness to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to collate and present information in a clear and concise manner.
