The British Virgin Islands (BVI) is a well-established jurisdiction best known for funds, captive insurance and in particular for the simplicity and efficiency of its registered office and registered agent service provision.
We are seeking a Trust & Corporate Administrator to join our growing team.

Purpose of job

The successful candidate will provide post administrative support services to clients in the day to day operation of the BVI office

Essential Requirements
  • Candidates will have a minimum relevant trust and corporate administration experience. A good understanding of risk awareness, relationship management, contractual and statutory regulations is required.
  • A sound understanding and previous experience of VIRRGIN is required.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills with a flexible approach to work
  • Ability to review and resolve issues
  • Ability to self-motivate and work pro-actively with the rest of the team to achieve excellent client service
  • A positive “can do” attitude and a good team player
  • Good keyboard skills to include MS Excel and ability to learn systems used within the business (Essential)
  • Ideally be studying or looking towards studying a relevant professional qualification, I.e STEP, ICSA or similar qualification.
  • Fluency in written and oral Spanish is desirable.
Main Responsibilities and Duties

Work in conjunction with the Line Manager and provide administrative support including but not limited to:

  • The incorporation of companies, reserving company names;
  • Preparing Certificates of Incumbency and Good Standing;
  • Liquidation of companies and assisting with the day to day administration of client companies;
  • Assist with the daily servicing of a portfolio of trust.
  • Creating files and maintaining them will be an important part of the job.
  • Completing the review process for client entities and be aware of risk exposure, including the fulfilment of responsibilities under the review procedures.
  • Awareness and adherence to contractual and statutory obligations under the Group’s policies, procedures and guidelines, including the Group’s core values and expected behaviours.
  • Check, maintain and ensure accuracy of the central diary system relevant to client portfolio managed, to ensure deadlines are recorded and subsequently achieved.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of client entities (including desktop), ensuring all statutory obligations are complied with.
  • Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
  • Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
