Accounting Clerk – Fund Services

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

SALI a JTC Company is looking to expand our Reports Department team.  The Reports team is responsible for capturing data and information for the SALI organization, while working closely with the Fund Accounting Department and external parties.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Responsible for capturing financial data for private funds and entering information to support the fund accounting team, allowing for successful monthly close processes. 
  • Track and monitor high-volume inbox, log into investment data portals and distribute information and data to various internal and external parties, keeping all parties updated on the close process. 
  • Assist the accounting team with missing data or any discrepancies, updating and capturing information as needed. 
  • Capture and maintain data in Salesforce, Intralinks, and SharePoint. 
  • Maintain investment data reporting automation software, allowing for streamlined and automatic key operational processes.  
  • Participate in team projects, assignments, and other responsibilities, such as continual process improvement and data integrity initiatives. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field.  
  • Experience with financial modelling and analysis is preferred. 
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Understanding of account reconciliation processes. 
  • Familiarity with basic financial statements and reports. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and assignments to meet deadlines.
