Bill Byrne has been invited to speak at the INSOL International Channel Islands seminar, held this year in Guernsey.
INSOL International is a world-wide federation of national associations of accountants and lawyers who specialise in turnaround and insolvency. There are currently over 44 Member Associations with over 10,000 professionals participating as members of INSOL International.
This is INSOL’s fourth Channel Islands regional seminar, the seminar this year continues the very successful annual one day series organised by INSOL and ARIES, the Channel Islands Association for restructuring professionals.
The seminar will be joined by speakers drawn globally from onshore and offshore to contribute to topical subjects.
Bill will join the panel discussing Virtual Insolvency – the rapidly emerging world of cyber currencies and the inevitable cyber related insolvencies that will follow.
The panel is chaired by Jeremy Garrood, Carey Olsen.
Other panellists include, Charlotte Moller, Reed Smith, Marc Piano, Bedell Cristin and Liam Short, EWS.
Bill is part of JTC’s global crypto team. The team comprises highly skilled and dedicated staff members at all levels of seniority across several jurisdictions. The team not only monitors developments in this fast moving area, but actively engages with key players in the crypto community to conceive and provide a wide range of administrative and accounting service solutions. JTC is investing significantly in its crypto team, both in terms of technology and talent.
