Andrew has 25 years of experience as a lawyer in both private practice and in-house, conducting legal proceedings and resolving disputes, as well as advising clients and providing compliance and audit services. After spending time living and working in London, he then moved to Switzerland followed by Ireland, working as in-house counsel for global groups, as well as carrying out compliance and audit assignments in a number of European countries, before moving to Jersey at the end of 2008 and joining JTC Group in 2011.
BA (1983), LLM (1984), English Bar (1985), English Solicitor (1990) and Jersey Advocate (2010). Member of English and Jersey Law Societies
In his spare time, Andrew is very much a Francophile and, with his wife, continues to renovate a French farmhouse property in the Charente, which somewhat coincidentally is known for its cognac and pineau. He enjoys playing golf, watching rugby (on both an international and local level) and also successfully undertakes the challenge that is Sudoku. Although a canine companion is yet to appear in the Deighton household, he looks forward to walking the dog in the not too distant future.
